Permanent makeup is also known as semi-permanent makeup or micropigmentation. Whilst there are similarities to traditional tattoos, they are not the same thing and are actually a form of cosmetic tattooing. A traditional tattoo goes much deeper into the skin and uses different pigments, which are not suitable for cosmetic tattooing.
The technician will use a digital machine that implants pigment into the top layer of the skin (also called the dermis). These pigments should be hypoallergenic and pharmaceutical grade. Fine lines are drawn that look like hairs and these are combined with your own natural hairs to create the appearance of a full natural brow. Even if you have little or no natural brow, a complete brow can be created using multiple hair-strokes.
Unlike conventional tattoos, the pigments used for permanent makeup are made from mineral and organic material and are designed to fade over time. They typically last between 12-18 months after which you can have a top-up to your permanent make up with a maintenance treatment (sometimes called a color boost) to refresh color, shape and definition.

Microblading
(also known as Eyebrow Embroidery or 3D Brows)
Microblading creates natural-looking eyebrows. I will create individual brow hairs, by hand, using a microblade tool made up of tiny needles. An appropriate brow design for your facial structure will be created to bring out your best natural features.
By hand method the Microblade tool will then create individual channels, implanting specialist permanent makeup pigments into the dermal (2nd) layer of the skin to make the very finest of ‘hair’ strokes. Each stroke follows the natural length and direction of the eyebrows. This in turn will create super natural eyebrows.
Precision
Microblading is a slightly different technique that’s set firmly in the tattooing family, a precision hand tool is used instead of a machine.

Ombré Powder Brows is a form of tattooing, but it is different from the traditional method. It is a more modern method because it is a surface work meaning it is on the epidermis layer of the skin. The technique is described by it’s name – the results are more powdery and fluffy with a faded front and a crisp tail — and looks like you have makeup on! Because it does not penetrate deep into the dermis layer of the skin’s the results will last UP TO 1-3 years depending on the skin type and lifestyle. All results vary.
Microshading Brows
